FAQ, Logistics and Safety

Driving from Arizona
Whether you’re coming from Tucson or Phoenix, both drives are about 4.5 hours in normal conditions.

Both routes converge in Why, AZ, a small town with gas stations and convenience stores where many people pause before continuing south.

Just before the border, Lukeville, AZ also offers services, including a Duty Free store, post office, and gas station, making it another good last stop before you cross into Sonoyta, Sonora and continue on to Puerto Peñasco, where the retreat is held.
